In order to evaluate the possibilities to establish SRC on proposed sites by the french farmers, a first visit was done on friday July 19th. Data has been collected for the further analysis and optimization process of a regionally adapted SRC value chain. The major problems encountered on these sites for species/clone selection and site preparation are the seasonal floodings lasting up to 6/7 months per year.
