Wednesday 08 April 2009, ITADA organizes, in Germany in Hügelheim near Muellheim (between Freiburg and Basel), a forum for cross-border information on the agrocombustible thematic. On this occasion, a series of speakers will review perennial energy crops (miscanthus, short rotation coppice): cultivation techniques, environmental balance, economic viability. The afternoon will be devoted to field visits: miscanthus site harvesting, visit of willow very short rotation coppice, heating installation running on miscanthus ... The forum is organized in collaboration with the Center for Agricultural Technology of Augustenberg (LTZ). Simultaneous translations of the presentations will be provided.
